Natural Research staff are helping to organise the Raptor Research Foundation (RRF) Annual Conference in Scotland 2009. RRF Annual Conferences have been traditionally held in the Americas, but this will be the first time in the Foundation’s history that the event has taken place on this side of the pond. Natural Research staff have teamed with colleagues from the Scottish Raptor Study Groups to initiate and organise this conference, which will take place in Pitlochry, Perthshire from September 29 – October 4 2009. A variety of field trips are also on offer.
Natural Research, along with other supportive organisations, has also made a large financial contribution to help off-set the costs of running such an event. The conference has already attracted a great deal of interest from potential delegates from around the world, and will provide an excellent opportunity to share results and ideas with international colleagues.
Delegate numbers are limited, so if you want to attend this conference, it is important to register your interest at: www.rrfconferencescotland2009.org. Formal registration will likely open in February 2008.
The number of slots available for oral and poster presentations is also limited. A Call for Papers has been made and details can be found at: http://www.rrfconferencescotland2009.org/call4pap.php
